Missing People is our chosen charity for 2021. BAFA Members voted to extend this period until the 31st March 2022. As a final fundraiser we will be organising a webinar of approximately 1.5 hours to raise funds for the Charity. The Webinar will feature presentations from Missing People, invited speakers, and finally a competition element based around the theme of Missing People's 90-90-90 Campaign: Every 90 secs a person goes missing in the UK.

'Told in 90 secs' Science Communication Challenge
The competition challenges students, academics and practitioners from forensic anthropology and associated subject areas to share a snapshot of their work such as a case study or research project, told in 90 seconds. We invite students, academics and practitioners to submit talks on their research for the 'told in 90 secs' component of the webinar. The talks should be recorded on video and should be no longer than 90 secs! The talks will be judged and the winners get a prize! Want to participate? Check the poster below for more details. The deadline for submissions is 21st March! If you have any questions regarding the submission of abstracts, please email: academic@bafa.uk
All talks should be recorded in MP4 format and sent to academic@bafa.uk along with proof of a donation to the Missing People charity.
